Vigilant Society Members may choose to utilize the free travel services offered by Vigilant Society or the member may choose any travel agent or service of their choice to reach their medical treatment center. Vigilant Society requests members or their Primary Care Physician to contact the Vigilant Society foreign medical surgical coordinator at the number which has been provided.

Ordinarily the member or the PCP will speak with a licensed and fully qualified surgeon or medical doctor who will assist in the selection of the Vigilant Society hospital partner to attend your care. This is our control point of providing you and your PCP those hospitals most ready to provide your specific care at the time you need it or want it, even on short notice.

At this point you will know when, where, how much, who and how. All of Vigilant Society's member hospitals have prepared accommodations for the member and one family member. The member's family member may be accommodated in the same room or adjoining room often at no cost. All rooms are modern and prepared with incoming and outgoing call telephone with IDD capable, and most rooms have WiFi broadband Internet infrastructure, and optional cellular phones. We suggest a brief recuperation period before returning home and experience a few of the world’s most beautiful sites!

We suggest making plans for post procedure R & R and any local travel at the same time as scheduling your medical procedures and air travel.  At all times a fellow Vigilant Society Member is nearby to serve you!

International Travel for Care Vigilant Society does not involve itself in your medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, planning or any other phase of your care. We provide you medical concierge services. Decision for your care are entirely your own, coordinated with your PCP or medical advisor.

Depending on your medical condition and on advice of your physician, you may wish to travel all at one time or in 2 or more stages to enjoy the experiences and see the sights. Others who have been foreign for medical treatment suggest taking a few days following surgery to recuperate, shake off the anesthesia, have a post procedure follow-up, and take the time to photograph a few wonders to talk about.

Whether choosing an after care trip to relax on a stretch of beach, visit a century’s old edifice dedicated as a memorial to a loving wife, or learning to meditate, Vigilant Society has been there.
